Phased Re-Opening Plan
Earliest date, subject to change -- May 4th- 17th
We’re nervous but excited to announce that we’ll be re-opening our classrooms in a very limited capacity. On Monday morning, May 4th, we’ll open with just 12 children and 3 teachers in 2 classrooms, and only for the hours of 8am to 4pm weekdays. We will have no visitors to the classrooms, and no moving of teachers or students between classrooms, along with increased safety protocols in daily health checks, cleaning, distancing, and other health and safety guidelines set by Licensing, the Health Department, and the Governor’s Plan.
For our office staff, we will continue to telecommute and observe stay at home protocols to the extent possible until Monday May 18th. We’ll still be largely working from home, and only spending time in the office one at a time when absolutely necessary. The only two exceptions are Marci and Lisa. Marci will see a few clients in office (also anxious and excited about this!) and Lisa will be making classroom lunches each day.
Earliest date, subject to change -- May 18th-31st
We will continue to operate our classrooms at limited capacity through the month of May, with the expectation of opening to full capacity in June.
Beginning Monday May 18th, our office staff will return to in office hours at half time. Each of us will be spending half of our working hours in the office, the other half still telecommuting, with the objective of minimizing the number of people in the building at any given time. We will follow hygiene, temp testing, and personal protection protocols.
We hope to return to normal operations on June 1st, but we are also prepared to modify our plan in the event it becomes necessary for the health and safety of our staff, our families and clients, and our community.
